The processing of equality data is important to obtain a reliable understanding of various aspects relating to diversity, inclusion and equality within higher education and research in the Netherlands. This guidance describes how, and under what conditions, equality data can be collected and processed lawfully and responsibly. It also provides practical guidance for higher education and research institutions.

In addition to the guidance, a presentation has been developed which summarises key insights and supports conversations about the use of equality data within institutions.

If you have any questions regarding the guidance, please contact Dr Helen Tibboel (Erasmus University, helen.tibboel@eur.nl).
